Infobytes's powerful StarGOV Platform is only available to public entites. Our apologies for putting this out here in such stark terms, but we have had for profit businesses (very profitable busineses) attempt to utilize some of the components we have available exclusively for local entities. In short: You must be a government entity and have received a determination of your status as a political subdivision, instrumentality of government, and/or your revenue is exempt under Internal Revenue Code section 11. Please don't make us ask for proof of this.
Public Entities provide tremendous services to all of us. They deserve special treatment. (Speaking of special treatment, try living without sewage services and/or flushing toilets. A good reminder how important local entites are, hopefully you'll understand how silly it is for you to pretend you are entitled to these benefits.)
All StarGov Components include licensing for the cloud. This dramatically reduces client load and stress. Infobytes handles all the sys admin and cyber security. Although, as part of our vetting process we do require that all entites utilizing StarGOV products have an active "hands-on" training program for securtiy, in particular cyber security.
A robust IT department of a given entity could be accepted to install StarGOV services on their own City Servers. There is no option for installation on other 3rd party vendors or servers.
Even in the best of times, having a coxswain is essential. We've used rowing as a metaphor for our role in support you in your digital governmental pursuits. With rowing, the coxswain acts as a coaching of the team, keeping them safe, steering, and providing necessary feedback. StarGOV is not just products off the shelf. We teach and coach, much like the coxswain, until you are ready to lead your digital pursuits on your own. Infobytes can assist on an extended retainer basis, to coxswain your digital efforts as needed.
As you complete this form, please mention your active cyber secuirty training. This is not an immediate disqualifier, we can help you establish one and conduct the initial trainings. However, if you do not want to have a cyber security plan and/or trainings, please don't except to be accepted.
